It's made to be a complete system backup/restore program, but it allows exceptions.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The only way I know of to do what you're looking to do is to exclude every folder EXCEPT the ones you want to backup.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Otherwise, you could try using crontab, which is a UNIX tool, and therefore an OS X tool.
